After their union came to an end, Lopez continued to have highly publicized relationships, including a famous engagement to Ben Affleck. Lopez and Affleck's engagement was so closely followed, that the media even dubbed them "Bennifer."
During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Diddy was asked about his ex and her then new fiancé. While Diddy tried to remain respectful, he seemed to be quite uncomfortable with the questions regarding Lopez.
Diddy Asked Listeners To Stop Asking Him About Jennifer Lopez During His Howard Stern Interview
Diddy appeared on The Howard Stern Show in 2003 and was asked several questions about his then ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez.
During the interview, Stern opened up the phone lines to have his listeners ask Diddy some questions. One listener was Double A, a frequent guest of the Stern show. Double A asked Diddy, "Is J.Lo's ass the best in the business?"
"Definitely the best in the business," Diddy responded.
Robin Quivers then asked Diddy if she left him because of infidelity.
Lopez had previously told Vibe Magazine that her relationship with Diddy was "the first time I was with someone who wasn’t faithful."
She continued, "I was in this relationship with Puff where I was totally crying, crazy and going nuts, it really took my whole life in a tailspin. I never caught him [cheating] but I just knew. He’d say he was going to a club for a couple of hours and then never come back that night."
Stern then asked Diddy how he felt about the amount of publicity her relationship with Ben Affleck was getting at the time. Before Diddy could answer, Stern then voiced his prediction of their future.
"You know what's sad?" Stern began. "It's going to end in a divorce just like the other two marriages. You know it and I know it. This girl gets married every year!"
Diddy tried to remain respectful, telling Stern's listeners that it was "in the past." He also wished Lopez and Affleck well.
"I like Ben. I like the Ben and Jen thing. It's all good," Diddy said.
Stern then asked Diddy if he was "glad to be rid of her," to which he replied, "It's not even like that. I'm happy to be in the relationship that I'm in."

Fiennes went on to say that Lopez and her team asked him out to dinner at Cipriani's in Soho. Fiennes said after they "had a nice dinner," he caught a paparazzo snapping a picture of him giving Lopez a double cheek kiss goodbye.
